Horses of Antigua

Maritza sold us half of her skirt in the street.
The colors are beautiful, she wanted to sell us something, and
we couldn't afford the whole thing, so she cut it in half.  We both won.

In the Apple Store in Antigua where they make all types of wooden fruits and carvings.
They love to see the Senior missionaries coming.  We buy lots.

Front of Apple Store.  Their work area is 1/2 of the entrance with 2 workers using
small lathes run by electricity.

Smiths in a market buying dishes.

Black priest and boy.

Carpet in the church La Merced.  They are getting ready for Semana Santa again.
The fruits and vegetables are offerings.

Carpet = Remember that people pay money to carry a huge wooden platform with statues of Jesus and Mary in the streets over top of these carpets.  Someone goes along behind and cleans up the street as fast as they pass.  The people in the neighborhoods take turns making the carpets.
